Hahn isn't a regular and he's super close to the team. SAS likes Melo but doesn't hold back his criticism of him. I don't listen to Daughtry.

Melo just doesn't have that other part of his game that the other ones do. If Bron aint scoring he can still get you 10 assists or 15 rebounds. Kobe is a capable playmaker and an above average rebounder for his position. KD is an improving playmaker and his rebounding will get better as he gets older I think though its good now. But Melo is only making an impact if hes getting 30 and even then its not guaranteed a win like last night. Since passing aint his thing, with that big body he should average at least 8 or 9 boards year in and year out and he should use that great post game that he rarely goes to. He only shoots jumpers now and hes not a good enough shooter to do that 20 times a game. Carmelo also has to be real with himself and get himself in tip top shape. He's been in the league 10 years and while I don't think he comes into the season out of shape I also don't think he comes in tip top shape like a Bron or Kobe. But all in all he may just be better as a second option of a title team. But can he accept that?

Because I think Melo is better than kd . Why do people think Rose is better than cp3? Or Westbrook is better than rose? Or etc its opinion . I heard all year how kd can lead a team to the finals ... Except when he can't then its oh he doesn't have enough help while Melo ( who played pf this year so this thread title is stupid ) is apparently overrated even though he's top 3 sf anyway . ( whether you think he's second or third)

It's always gonna be a few nikkas who think one is better than the other, Melo was ranked 9th this year as an NBA player durant was 2, last year Melo was at like 17.....national media ranks him around 10 to 15 every year sometimes even lower.

Most national media say he is a pure scorer with flaws in his game(ball stopping, defense, playmaking) Yeah a few people overrate him, so what, a few people overrate every basketball player.
So kill this Melo is overrated agenda......its bs. Melo is rated fine, a top 10 to 15 player who on occasion can play like a top 5 player. Most people who watch basketball know this already.
