As for the Simpsons, it needs to be sent out in the Sunset. They haven't had a full good season in over a decade. The mid-late 90s though

American Dad has honestly emerged into the best thing Seth McFarlane has done. Once Rodger turned into Rodger with all the costumes and his self absorbed godless self, that show became of legend.
Family guy ran most of its course. At least with American dad there is some sort of I dunno charm. Stewie and Brian should be what rodger is. Instant laughs. It still has classic episodes.
