It boggles the mind
In the age of Obama and there are people in a hip hop website who proudly proclaim their disinterest in the 2012 elections or are adamant about not voting for the first and probably last, (cf 12% of the population) african american president.
The state's main method of enforcement of its laws, which have been detrimental to minorities, is thru the police.
Obama makes the top cop an african american, but some of yall still moan about Obama not doing anything for blck folks...it goes to show the level of ignorance.
The bottom line is that the 2008 credit crunch resulted in a substantial amount of lost wealth (not to mention Bernanke's qe's and twists aggrandizing the matter) the pie is too small to share between the upper and middle class.
The republicans have shown their cards, Obama knowing full well the decks are stacked against the middleclass is trying to get a sliver of that pie. Thats 2012 in a nutshell. The age of austerity cometh, which side are you on? And the proletariat have never and will never matter.:obama:

Can any of you calling us nonvoters ignorant tell us in what ways Obama SUBSTANTIALLY differs from Bush? Ended the wars in the Middle East? Nope, we are STILL in afghanistan and expanded into Pakistan. Slowed down on Iraq but shifted that to Libya and I wouldn't be surprised if we really started digging into Syria soon.

Patriot Act repealed? Nope, EXTENDED. In fact, Obama is the first president to order the death of an American citizen.

Real health care reform? No, what we got was actually WORSE than no reform, unless someone could care to explain how mandating people to purchase a private product makes health care more affordable.

Did he punish the bankers for them collapsing the financial system? Nope. They got off scott-free and even rewarded themselves with bonuses.

Improved gas prices? Nope, they are still sky high. Improved economy? Maybe slightly, but it is still in the gutter.

I can go on and on. Can someone explain what's really so different about Obama, or do we need to vote for him because he's black?

I live in New York, a state always carried by Democrats, my vote doesn't matter.
I'm sure it matters in places like Texas, Florida, and Ohio (:gag:).

I don't know about you... but I thank Obama for giving me a few more years of Health Insurance under my parents after I graduated from college. Cause otherwise I would have been SOL

that is a horrible analogy, nothing to do with voting :laff:

:stopitslime:

u never know how important your vote could be.

bush only "won" florida by a few hundred votes in 2000.

who knows, if some people had voted maybe we wouldn't have had that idiot for 8 years.

its people like u :scusthov: who's fault that was and will continue to be :pacspit:
