he probably should've had a target goal of 185, and then figure out from there what his body is able to sustain.
This… people see this massive weight gain and honestly it’s probably a negative for him. Pack on too much weight and it fuks with your already limited athleticism

Injuries are a thing, conditioning, etc

Too much weight too quickly. Remeber Cade Cunningham did same shyt. Put on like 20 lbs in one offseason and ended up missing his whole sophomore season because he got injured. Too much stress on body putting that much mass on quickly

Emoni’s weight gain won’t mean much of anything because his biggest issue is that he has to work hard for every shot,has a short wingspan so he wasn’t the best finisher in the world and isn’t all that athletic.

Unless he has adjusted his game somehow it means nothing .

Maybe the lack of finishing was just a strength thing and not a athleticism/length issue ..we’ll see

I haven’t seen much of him since his weight gain but I’m just assuming most of it came in the offseason within a 3-4 month timeframe. Therefore it’s most likely 97% fat and like 3% of actual muscle gain. Hopefully his transformation helps him finish through contact better, and helps him be more explosive with the ball so he doesn’t have to settle for jumpshots all the time. He has a long way to go still but he is also young as shyt, he’ll be good as long as he keeps developing.
