Also I'm talking worldwide

Pre drake would be lil Wayne and Jay-Z. I believe snoops branding over the years makes him a contender as well.

But is there any rapper that at their peak was more popular than drake is today?

50 cent had that type of hype and buzz too in the prime of his career. So did Jeezy. Your kids don’t know Snoop cause of music

Before the caricature, Snoop's popularity was huge. 93-94 run might be as big as a modern rapper can become. Strictly music wise I don't think Drake has a single project bigger than Doggystyle in terms of success or cultural relevance.

Drake is up there though. Will Smith is in the discussion albeit largely for his acting career. If Drake returns to acting and starts making movies it's a wrap.

Snoop at his peak is not bigger than Drake is now because rap wasn’t as big back then

Plus Drake peak is longer than Snoops

Your kids know Snoop as a rapper just like they know LL cool J or 50 cent as rappers

As far as peak popularity based strictly off rap we haven’t seen what Drake is doing before

Jay z music career will always Be up there off the sheer longevity but he didn’t even reach the highs that Drake has
