For those saying that DBZ was just a nostalgia thing and wouldn't hold up if you just started as a kid today you are wrong. I mentor young kids ages 12 to 15 and just listening to them talk about DBZ like it's something brand new and how much they love it brings me back to my high school days. Some like other anime some don't but DBZ is still king regardless.

Gon' compare DBZ to anime like Gundam and FMA...those anime wouldn't have even gotten here if DBZ didn't come through and crush the buildings. It's the GOAT here because before it came out, nobody knew how big an anime like that could get.

you watch a few episodes and realize "Aint nobody got time for that"....You had to sit through how many episodes to see a real fight:mjlol:?How much time did they waste showing Goku was on his way to save the day:beli:?If they had a bad guy of the week it would be a better show,instead it was a bad guy of the 2 months.

DB is by far the most influential anime OAT

Naruto is the only one that's had half the impact in the States (unless you count Pokemon)
