Hell fukk no. Barry Sanders is the best back ever!
Why are we so sure about this?

From 1990-98 he had 1,233 more yards than Emmitt but 26 fewer rushing touchdowns. On a per-game basis, thats only ~10 more yards per game than Emmitt...

Something is missing that 90s apologists won't talk about, Barry didn't have a real nose for the end zone. Henry has more rush touchdowns now in a shorter career, fumbles the ball less, is probably just as fast as Barry, showed he could carry a weak franchise just like Barry, etc...

Guys say Barry is the GOAT but he only scored once every ~31 carries...

Because he had absolutely no team and a mediocre line. Yet still carried them to the NFC championship. He plays for the Lions and did so that. Enough said

Henry played for the Titans and carried them to the AFC Championship Game. Absolute mediocre team, and yet he protects the ball better and he finds the end zone way more often...

I'm not sure other than nostalgia that there's a strong case for Barry over King!

My nikka back. :myman:

Lions squandering two of the greatest talents to play their position with Barry and Calvin is comical.

Nah RB fall off the cliff HARD, don't forget Adrian Peterson had a resurgence after injury and was the rushing leader at age 30 too, then that was kind of it.
-AP and Henry do not take the same punishment
-AP was constantly collision
-AP known to party be into nightlife, drinking, etc
-Henry plays with Lamar, and a team built on running
-Henry doesn’t need as many carries
-Henry doesn’t take as much punishment and less significant injuries than AP
-We know who’s more focused and locked in…We have eyes and understand off-field dynamics plays a part in durability/sustainability

No Titan team is worse than a Barry Lions team. Henry wouldn't do what he's doing now on that purtid teams. Why the hell you think Barry did all this crazy moves that Henry could never do?

I can't go back and forth about this. No fukking way Henry would do what does with that Lions O line.

I still think he'd be good and HOF caliber.

Lions line damn sure wasn't good as the Cowboys, but it wasn't as bad as many made it out to be.

But yeah, Barry is the best I ever saw. No coincidence that the only 2 cats to average 100 yards a game are him (rounded) and Mr. Brown.

Nobody is saying Henry isn't good. But the title is talking about him being the best back ever. I'm like over Barry? :gucci:

Without a doubt Henry will be in the HOF.

Oh yeah, def not best back ever. I can't say that at all, but I don't have a problem with top 10 at this point.
Ever since he became a full time starter at RB in 2018, he's averaged a hundred yards a game.

Mike Malarkey is a clown for not starting this man the first 2 years of his career.
