This is a terrible take. People get criticism for the decisions they make, not because people hate their success.

1. Jay z for example gets criticism because of how he handled the whole rocafella situation. Even his own label mates like Camron have said how he wouldn’t do a feature with them but then when the song blows up he forces himself on the song or how didn’t believe in Kanye but now wants to take credit for his success. Jay z made back door deals without dame and Biggs to gain control of Rockefella and what did he do with it afterwards? Because of dame we have jay z, Kanye, dipset, state property the list goes on and on. Where is rocafella now? What has jay z done for hip hop culture besides enrich himself?

2. Being accepted by white as a black person usually entails compromising yourself in some way because white people are naturally prejudice so instead of blaming black people ask yourself what the artist (ie Kevin hart jay z) etc did to gain white acceptance. It’s usually not something culturally acceptable by black people

He was one of my top 3 comedians ever but it’s fukk him until he condemns him.

Black folks had pride at one time. I get the separating art from the artist but there are things that should be red lines.
