There's a difference between a "barber" and somebody who just cuts hair. A lot of these dudes just cut hair.

Working out well for me. I make $65G's a year legally. No college degree just a dumbass G, yeah me.

Some of the best barbers are unlicensed. Same with hairdressers and everything else.

Good For you..not like I can verify how much you make though, just like you can't verify who is a white boy or where they come from on a message board:wtb:

I can't verify it, but the fact is if you were hood. Or even in an urban setting, you would not be shocked at "unlicensed barbers", you wouldn't be surprised that so many people cut hair. And you certainly wouldn't call it a new hustle. Or maybe you are 12 and just getting your first look at reality

Yeah most dudes that are ex felons tend to either be barbers or tattoo artists now.

Why?

The point of this thread is about everyone I knew picking up clippers and calling themselves barbers now when they weren't doing that not too long ago.

and who the fukk wants to be hood? I'm from the hood, but never aspired to be a Hood nikka, i'm out the hood now, college graduate and in corporate america.

Of course I know people who have cut hair for a long time without being licensed, but these days I find random people doing it right now..must be easy as shyt to learn.

someone with a babershop that can hire you without doing a background check or can just hire you based off the "honor code"... anyone can get a license just put in the hours(felon or not) ....and it's good money with the potential for GREAT money if you can open your own spot.
not everyone has the patience or natural knack for it tho...
