Imo Cody has single handedly elevated the entire Indy scene this past year and has accomplished alot. He has gotten better in all aspects. I definitely think he's one of the best OVERALL wrestlers in the world right now

I never meant in the ring. I mean for wrestling In general as of right now. He's definitely elevated the Indy scene alot and deserves recognition for that.

No. He will never be Top 5. I think he will become a better promoter than his Father, he is very charismatic and really has no problem pushing a product; a very good spokesman.

In the ring or in wrestling as a whole? No. Not even close. And it's not a knock on him because he's improved a LOT, but there are a lot of dudes out there who are still miles ahead of him.

From a business standpoint as a promoter and money maker? Yes. He's help elevated the indies in a way it hasn't been since the initial indie boom period in the early/mid 00s and deserves props for it.

but then weren't specific in what you actually meant

Yes he's a top 5 booker. But when someone says "Top 5" they usually aren't talking about Kevin Dunn or Road Dogg. They are talking about in ring and microphone/promo ability. In which, Cody is not Top 5. But booking and elevating himself and his territories, what he is doing is incredibly impressive.

Cody is basically the new Cena. Might even be bigger than Cena in some regards. He just won’t have as long a run at the top due to getting the brass ring so late in age. I can see him as the top face for another 3-4 years until someone in NXT is ready to replace him. Bron Breakker looking to be that guy.
