Clinton had it worse with Repubs than Obama???? You can't be serious. Clinton himself will tell you that's not even close to being true. The Repubs did not form a monolithic bloc of voters who voted against everything he did and used the threat of the filibuster to make 60 votes the minimum to for anything, even staff his treasury department. That is unprecedented in American history.

Type, words cannot describe how wrong you are on this. Obama had to face Repubs making 60 votes the requirement to pass anything, even the most mundane shyt like appointing ambassadors. That was something new in American history unique to the Obama presidency. Clinton got taxes raised without it being filibustered. No President in history had to face what Obama faced in terms of obstruction. This is not even debatable.

Did Obama get investigated about something like that yet? I don't remember it. You guys were upset with the small line of questioning regarding Fast and Furious as it was.

Also, the Republicans shut down the government to get what they wanted. Did you forget that as well?

Clinton had his entire private sex life smeared across the headlines all because of politics.

I'll say it again, Obama has faced much harsh the public outcry and hatred than Clinton. Obama has been denied and impeded many times over by the GOP, I'm not denying that.

But Clinton was passively accused of Murder by those a$$holes and investigated and had his private life destroyed.

It depends on what your talking about. If you're talking about having you personal life put through a wringer and being subject to bullshyt investigations then I can see your point. But if you're talking about having the actual policy of your presidency obstructed, it's Obama and it's not even close.

Obama faces 'hatred' but keep in mind the culture wars, religious right, welfare demonization, anti-feminist, anti-gay culture has all calmed down at this point.. and Obama knows how to control his white house and the media while it was always blowing up in Clinton's face. Not to mention Waco, Condoms in school, attacking Bill's appointments and having him remove them

On the other hand when it comes to obstruction with a 'respectable' veneer the legislature gives Obama more static. not to mention the racial/birth certificate etc stuff. Obama also folds superquick over things like that woman with the speech on Brietbart and on the .. damn I just woke up with was the name of that organization they got with the video sting

So to put it in a summary way. Clinton got more explicit viciousness and anger, but got more legislative successes. Obama faces more sinister, submerged angst and complete legislative blockage

This is accurate. Clinton got more personal investigative lowblows from rethugs, Obama got more legislative obstruction. The latter is far more crucial not only too the legacy of the President, but more importantly to the people.

Most people hardly know or remember about that "murder" shyt so it was hardly a big thing...the Monica thing was big but that was of Clinton's own doing.


One thing u are leaving out is that Obama not only has to deal with repubs in Congress but he has to deal with them on the state and local level too, for example the stimulus...while they managed to squeak that by Congress with little GOP support, many of the programs stalled or was flat out rejected by GOP Govs and state legislature like that FL Gov rejecting high speed rail.


Most presidents breathe a sigh of relieve when they are able to muscle shyt through a tough congress...for Obama its only breaking through the first wall of defense with several more to go.
