The criticism comes from the fact that Purdy was shaky for the majority of the game and about folded for good when Deebo went down. TV people talk about him like the Second Coming, when really, he's moreso a perfect scheme fit for what the Niners ask of a QB given the top-level talent he's surrounded by.
