People in New York may be Knicks fans more than Nets fans.
I'm not a Nets fan, but they're 4-2 ... not exactly garbage. But then again, records don't matter right now...

The crowd does suck. As I've been saying all along, they're not gonna have a brand new fanbase overnight. It takes time. Not every BK head blindly switched allegiances and not every Jersey fan followed them to BK. The atmosphere would be liver if there was a liver crowd. Livest people there are those sugar rush having white boys. Some jokingly call this team the Bay Ridge or Bensonhurst Nets.
For now, you're gonna see more fans of other teams than the Nets until they do something that gets them more fans. Just sticking a Brooklyn on the logo and having a wack ass BROOOOKLLYYYNNN chant that fans are too shook to say isn't gonna make everything better.
The good news is that the arena is great, the food is good, it's easy to get to, and you feel so safe outside.

They need more Stuy, Crown Heights and Brownsville niqqas at these games.

they do that all the time. I've been there 3 times already and they'd always show the most Beastie Boy lookin hipster with a scarf on. You can look at the crowd and know what train they're taking home.

It's disgusting. My wife is a Knicks fan and at the game, some nasally pasty looking hipster with a ski hat with balls hanging down the side was walking down the aisle saying in some out of town voice "I'm surprised they aren't playing more Hova!" Cuz the PA system was cutting up some BDK and BIG.
