Is Broly universally accepted as the GOAT DBZ character?

Brolly was an AWFUL character.

I mean dude doesn't even have a personality or motive, he's just some huge overpowered dude. Even by DBZ standards he's shallow. And no, being powerful does not count as a personality trait.

And why was he even fighting? Because Goku cried too loud when they were babies?



GOAT DBZ villan was probably Cell. With Frieza as a close second.

He doesn't have an interesting enough personality or powerset to write more than a few episodes about, much less an arc. Buu was pretty lame too but at least he had all his different forms and ability to absorb people. Plus the backstory about how he was created and how he killed the original Supreme Kais.

What exactly could you write a story about Brolly doing? He was just some overmuscled nygga that wanted to smash everything for no real reason. Dude barely even talks and has no real motive or backstory. And his powers are the same as any other Super Saiyan other than having bigger muscles. Dude is too flat a character to have his own arc.

did you watch the Majin Buu saga, that was the sloppiest story arc for a villain in DBZ, everything that he did its like they made shyt up as they went along, Oh this fat muthafukk is the villain oh he regenerates his power, oh theres a skinny version too, now he can turn people into candy and eat them. oh now he absorbs other peoples power like cell, oh now theres a kid version.. shyt was all over the place

In the Cell Saga he originally planned for Androids 19 (the fat one) and 20 (Gero) to be the main villains of the Android Saga. His editor said they were lame so he created 17 and 18. His editor still didn't like them so he ended up creating Cell.
