Having money is not the key to happyness. Living your dreams is the key to happyness. I've had money, lost it, and got it back again, and most of the people i know with money are miserable while the broke ones are blissful in their financial ignorance. When your rich, you dont have real friends, only associates. The hardest thing isn't getting money, it's keeping money. When you got it like that, you can't even hang with the same people anymore, cuz they either jealous or expect you to support them financially. I've had to cut off close family and friends over money, they all think i owe them something, or should "invest" in them. Dont chase money, chase your dreams. The money will follow.

No, if I did I'd be a millionaire.

but during some periods where I found myself to be content, and feeling good about everything going on in my life, I wasn't seeking happiness, trying to find a solution, or something to fill that void.. i just was living my life and doing things I enjoy without worrying about what I'm not, what I am or what is missing.. I just lived.

I get tImes I'm extremely content with life and others where I'm pissed( usually when I got classes) U try meditating ?
Someone give me tips if it's legit.

Being rich and ridiculously wealthy seems like the key to happiness to me!

When I'm broke and jobless, I'm alone. Most of my 20s were spent being broke, unemployed, and alone. It sucks being in that spot especially when you have all these dreams and aspirations, but you can't even get them off the ground. It sucks have this vision of this lifestyle where you're happy and you are surrounded by the things and lifestyle that fuels your happiness and you just don't have the loot to get it off the ground. It sucks to not have enough to pay rent, bills, and important stuff. It sucks to look in your fridge and only have condiments in it. If I was rich or wealthy, I wouldn't even know what that brokeass lifestyle was ever again!

do you read a lot of news?

for a long time, and I noticed im kinda getting like this again because ive been keeping myself updated on news, and world affairs i've becoming cynical as fukk and negative because im not keeping a balance.

human beings can be really horrible and its easier to see the bad than it is to see the good and that can lead to despair, so try to keep a balance. try to read positive news stories, seek things that showcase human beauty, excellence and achievement.

for myself, i find human beauty and hope through listening to instrumental music, and art.

No. It's the key to freedom, which is just one part of happiness.
Exactly. Money is freedom.
What your state of mind is like when become wealthy is an entirely different matter.

Best thing I've read in a while and so true. I'd rather chase my dreams and my passions cause I've spent the majority of my life trying to do so. I'd rather die happy knowing that I went for my dreams and failed than be miserable abandoning my dreams and going for the easy way to money just cause.
