Is being a "Social Media star" going to overtake "being a rapper" as the urban youths big dream?

Yes… if it hasnt already

And not just for Urbans. Whiye folk been eating off social media star since like Tom Green. shyt, Joe Budden was actually ahead of his time.

But now, these dudes will just incorporate rap into it. Like DDG becoming a full time youtube artist or Kai bring rappers into his fold.

So for the youth they may be some type of hybrid. Some will still try to be rappers though. There is a large amount of youth that still think that living on social media shyt is goofy. But streaming is the wave if not big already. Just as hard to make it though if not harder

Funny part is they probably have a better chance at atleast making some money by choosing streaming over rapping.
