Is being a "Social Media star" going to overtake "being a rapper" as the urban youths big dream?

TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, etc. are very popular and seem to have a lower barrier of entry and less chance of death than being a rapper. What y'all think?

I mean I dont see how you make actual bread doing it.....couldn't be me.

the whole point of doing anything was to put paper in my hand.

I fully understand at a certain level you can make $$$ ; but if you a kid the chances are super slim.

you gonna starve before that happens.

Breh even the rappers are trying to be social media stars. Its the signs of the times. At the end of it all, by 2030 the social media star will be movie star status, while rappers will become the new Jazz musicians.

Making trap tunes for a quarter tip, while some Gen Zer in a suit goes "get a job lil zanny molly" :scust:

With the rise of kai cenat, I can see a boom in streamers. Just hope we can fix the racist issue over at twitch or learn how to carve out a space for us.
