In the last few weeks, we've had a block of 85 catch on fire, a gas leak that fukked up I-20 , and this shyt. Good thing I mostly take the Marta everywhere:whew:

I remember making a thread on here around last year talking about moving downtown (I work downtown) and getting rid of the whip and people was acting like I was crazy. But that's why I don't listen to people. They don't know what the fukk they be talking about. Just got the condo on Peachtree st, moving in next month, and getting rid of the car. My job is less than 100 feet away from the condo:wow:

How much are the condos on peachtree going for breh :patrice:

I'm gonna rent for a year so I can pay off some of this debt, then I'll be ready to buy something. The ones I'm renting is $1300.00 a month, cable, gas, sewer, electric included. 18th floor, view of the downtown, shyt is beautiful :banderas:

I already told the lady who owns the condo, that I may want to buy it when my lease is up next year and she was like:whoa: Talking about they not selling the one on the 18th floor, but they selling one on the 6th:rudy:

If you looking to buy, the units where I'm at going from like 120k to 150k.

I'm from Chicago, and for what I'm paying, on the 18th floor, in the heart of downtown, is a steal to me. But people from Atlanta tell me that Midtown/Buckhead is more of the premier spot like downtown is for most cities. But Midtown and Downtown are close as fukk. I can literally walk to midtown from Peachtree st. It's like less than a mile away. I spend most my time downtown anyway. I can walk to work in less than 1 minute. shyt is perfect for me

Yeah right now midtown is the premier spot but I can see that changing when the finally redevelop The Underground into something respectable. Peter Street already seems to be coming up pretty strongly and GSU is developing the old Turner Field so I can see the Underground changing pretty drasticly. In about five years I wouldn't be suprised if downtown Atlanta looks completely different.

They moved the Masquerade to the Underground and I was there last Saturday for a concert

Before that concert the last time I had been to underground was in like '98, it was run down and depleted

It looks really nice on the inside now. The concert venue was dope
