:yeshrug: AC1 is repetitive but it also has the best assassinations (if done right).

I'll agree with this but the problem is that learning how to do them right requires going through a bunch of disjointed steps n shyt.

it's a garbage story in a garbage setting with garbage characters and average gameplay. there's a reason a new 1 comes out every 8 months. it's simply trash.

Is it an open world sandbox game or linear like the Uncharted series?

Sand Box.

Like everybody else is saying skip 1 and play AC2 & Brotherhood. If you gotta have you 1, just buy Revelations, it comes with AC1.

AC2 starts a whole new story with a whole new character so you won't be missing anything.

True, but the payoff was worth it imo. Each assassination felt special, and somewhat artistic/meaningful. There were only two assassinations in AC2 (and none in Brotherhood) that I felt were on par with any of the AC1 assassinations.

Don't get me wrong the flag collecting and intel gathering sucked. I just felt the assassinations and Altair being a cool dude made the game bearable.

skip 1 and get 2 and brotherhood.

you should play revalation if your really into the story.

This.

ACII is the best. Brotherhood was good but a slight step down and Revelations felt way too short and was just a stop-gap until ACIII.

I didn't like the 1st one but the second one is f*cking great.

That's the only one I've played all the way through and beat. I've been meaning to play brotherhood and revelations but never got around to it.

The new one that's coming out looks like pure piffery.

they are all pretty bad games honestly...repetitive, story is ehhhh, the game does everything for you, combat is weak, just not very good games from a gamer standpoint...they are made to be accessible. If you don't play too many games you will probably like it lol.

Yeah, that's me. That's why I like games that are not very hard to beat.
