I never played any of them, and I really never hear much about them (except the first one) until now. I was looking at previews of AC3 and it looks cool. Is it worth going back and playing the other four titles?

range when it comes to Assassins Creed
Play AC2 and AC: Brotherhood.
do you wanna feel like a God amongst men in your everyday life???

Nah, but really I'm one of those OCD gamers. If I'm going to commit myself to this... I have to start from the beginning. I see it's like $15 used at GameStop.
Guess I'll see what's good.
Edit: Thanks everybody.
AC1 is repetitive but it also has the best assassinations (if done right). I also liked ac1 its fighting mechanics more than ac2 and brotherhood. AC2 is the best of the series overall (story, flow, collectibles). I really thought brotherhood was a slight step back from ac2.
