This song was actually a really smart commentary on pedophilia being rampant in our culture, even reaching pop culture. He was concerned about it as man raising two pre-teen girls at the time. But because of the accent and silliness, all that flew over mfs heads.
He couldn't have done the song with a straight face because he would have been clowned far more than he was for it.
