Just finished. Amazing movie.
Inspired by Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad.
It's not my favorite movie but it's a masterpiece for sure. I don't know man. There are so many amazing movies that came out in the 1970s.
The wild thing is, you could make a documentary about the making of the movie...and that would probably also be amazing in itself.
ive never watched it
not a big movie guy but yall intriguing me
whats so dope about it?
During the Vietnam War, an American captain is assigned a mission in Cambodia, to search and assassinate a renegade colonel, who has taken innocent lives and is believed to be a demigod by a tribe.
soujnds pretty fukkin dope
Just finished. Amazing movie.
Martin Sheen coming up out the muddy pond as thunder cracks is one of my favorite shots of all time
Francis was just throwing gems at the screen whether it be in the director's chair or as a screenwriter throughout the 70's. Started the decade off with Patton (screenwriter) and ended it with Apocalypse Now! (director/screenwriter) and he gave us Godfather 1 & 2 and The Conversation in between all of that. That's a GOAT tier career in itself.
Yes and yes.
