1.) EVERYONE (viewers) knows that Red is Liz father
2.) Liz point blank asked her one time if he was her father, he hesitated before he answered her with a no, then we saw his back when he took off his shirt (Liz remembered her father carrying her outta the burning house to safety before a beam fell from the ceiling onto his back)
*If she had died, Red would have whispered that he was her father as he was kissing "her dead body"
3.) As it was pointed out she demanded that he leave when he asked to see the baby then turned around after Mr. Kaplan said something and asked to see him
4.) They (Red's team) are all in on the know about what is going on with Liz as they are all moving FLUIDLY to get her body outta there
5.) Another point made, Red wanted HIS people to handle "the body"; in order for Liz to "remain dead" Red's people would have to handle it because the other people would find out she was in a medically induced coma and not dead.
6.) The reasons the measure was taken for her to "die" is because Mr Kaplan berated Red for not taking care of Liz like she needed to be and the ONLY way to protect her was for her to "die"
7.) Mr Kaplan is somehow connected to Liz and the real scratcher is how? I believe that she is either related to Red or she is Liz mom. Let's not forget that Mr. Kaplan is EXTREMELY versed in fire power as well as other areas and now her and Red are working together to make sure she STAYS safe this time as that was the reason that Red turned himself into the FBI on the first place, to protect Liz.
