Is anyone NOT buying the new Xbox or Playstation?

i never buy on launch. by the time the ps4 and one drop i will probably just cop a wii-u and then wait a year and cop the ps4. i dont play as much as i used to but i still game. after the kids are in bed i usually play for about an hour. my wife likes to watch RPGs while i play cause the story, my kids love platformers and i play FPS and sporting games in my own time if i aint got anything else to do.

Ill cop at launch, im one of them nikkaz thats a sucker for new entertainment. I only keep a 2 game rotation at most (2k and a single player game). I dont really play online, I like association/franchise modes, great single players and non-nerdy rpg's etc. Mr. solo dolo I am

I barely play any games other than Madden or NBA 2k (and occasionally grand theft) but I've kinda grown out of them too, I'm still buying the Ps4 on release date. I like getting new systems first. Always have.

Part of the reason for me growing out of them is the fact that I rather spend time working on music and doing work than spending so much time playing video games. I haven't accomplished enough to have the luxury to spend hours playing games. Also, I barely see my friends anymore now that I'm adult. Most of the time I played games from college on was us competing......madden, 2k, shyt like that. I still play Madden and 2k online tho just not nearly like I used to,
Most of the time I'm playing Madden while I listen to and catch up on music. It's my job to stay current on music so I can play madden and read while doing that.

I grew out of video games even though I want to finish Mass Effect 3 and Max Payne 3

I wish I still had that passion for video games...it actually makes me sad that I don't play anymore. I try but get bored as fukk.

Call of Duty and Halo 3 is fun when playing online with my homies from home though

I'm good with my 360 and I barely play that.... I will be buying cheap used games til the wheels fall off. I havent paid full price for a game since the original Gears of War. I'm more into my tablet anyway, since I'm on the road so much.

These new consoles are built so corporate... seem like all the fun had been stripped out.

I've been thinking about it. I'll be 28 this December.. and I'll be lying if I said my interest in video games wasn't waning. That's mostly because I rarely have the time, and I'm incredibly focused on getting dimes and figuring out a way to make money without a KAK handing me a paycheck for the rest of my life. Plus, we get the same ol tired shyt. Call Of Duty. Halo. EA Sports. Tired, uninspired, unoriginal shyt.

Furthermore, I work 50+ hours a week and on the weekends I drink craft beer uncontrollably and visit family. So yeah, time is limited.

Video games will always have a place in my heart, especially Nintendo games since I've been rockin out wit em since 85. So regardless of the time I have, i'll always pick up a Nintendo console to play the latest Mario Zelda and Metroid.

I have a Wii U, which is pretty cool, but I was thinking about getting another console for the third party games I'll miss out on. I'm thinking of passing on the Xbox1 after owning a 360 because it seems that they're building this all in one entertainment center, which is a waste of time in my eyes. Ps4, it seems, is all about the games. Ps4 is an fascinating piece of hardware and I'm sure we'll get some breathtaking games out of it, but 400+ dollars? Ehhhhhhhh.

I'll probably get caught up in the Ps4 hype this fall and cave in anyway. If not, I'll just pick up a cheap PS3 and catch up on the games I missed.

I have to basically schedule time to play games now. I have like 10 games that I own and haven't even played yet.



I highly doubt that I'll cop an Xbox One this gen, and I'm not sure if I'll get the PS4 at launch, unless I just get geeked and feel like buying some new shyt. Plus I have a PC that can handle these games now, and I don't even play shyt on here. I do plan on copping The Last of Us and that Beyond 2 Souls though.

Between work, hittin' the gym, and the other hobbies that I have... gaming is getting neglected

I really have a lot of time to game...I just fukking spend most of it with my headphones on browsing the net. Any breaks I take are usually spent watching netflix. I'm sick of the kinds of games we are getting.

I'm not some femnazi, moralizing, indie-faq....but I can only take so much of this shooting/action shyt brehs. I just want something real meaty, plot centric, without being too "gamey", that I can get into.

Like I said...not an indie-faq. I'm not into that pixel-bro bullshyt really. I'm just so used to these tropes and shyt these days, the gameplay seems to be getting into the way of things I want at this point.

I often feel the same way about movies. I'm not really that into any of this superhero stuff. But at least with movies, there is soooo much variety, I can always find an ill film to watch that doesn't have any of the nonsense in it.

MSFT looks dead in the water...I'll cop a PS4 at some point, but it's going to be years from now.

I won't be moving forward and I've pretty much been out of it since the ps3 dropped only bought mine about 3yrs ago

The last Grand Theft Auto game I played was San Andreas and I barely started playing it
I got Madden 2010 and hardly played it and I used to love Madden but it's the last one I played

Uncharted 2 and didn't finish it

I have an Xbox on only used it for the kinect games

Never played Halo or any of those Xbox games

Call of Duty Modern warfare 3 is the first and only COD game I played and barely played it.

My PS3 is primarily a movie player although I loved all God of War games

I'm sure I'll eventually get both but it won't be for a while. Launch prices are nuts, too many issues with the consoles and I still have dozens of unplayed games from this generation.
