Is America headed towards Fascism?

Definition. Fascism.
a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.

Personally I think so it'll be ruled by special interest and corporations more so the government. Within a year, the supreme court limited EPA's authority and you know industries are behind it. You have equity and other companies becoming the biggest landlords in the country. Also, people are owning less due to subscriptions and being priced out of goods. Just my opinion.

I am not gonna lie when I made this thread use back I was hoping naively that white people and America would do the right thing and not vote for Trump... But I knew something was changing after Obama.

White people are deathly afraid of losing power privilege and population numbers. Historically they've always voted against social progress not for it. And when resources are scarce and the economy looks grim, population based politics (populism) and demogogues are more likely to arise.

What Trump started with his savage and far right politics DeSantis, will finish and take further.

Trump helped the white masses essentially overcome their fear of being outright fascists. Counselled them with repeated supremacist rants, and led them out of their shell. And they are not going back anytime soon.

This is America though...preserving the only Democracy this country has should be everybody's priority but a lot of folks are too comfortable...and they're scared.

I told my fam White folks were going to show out after Obama. They thought I was crazy, but began to acknowledge my words when Trump got in.
