This was probably the song, or one of them, that made me such a fan of Jay, at a young age, even if I didn't realize exactly why. The intensity, contempt, rawness in the lyrics, and the haunting beat....Real shyt I grew up on Jay's music, I listened to all that like it was gospel. Put that Hard Knock Life cover poster on my wall....
