If I could be serious for a moment: 7-11 just raised the price of the 1/4 lb Big Bite & Big Gulp combo from $2.00 to $2.75.

Sandwiches have 2 pieces of bread, so no:jbhmm:
Open sandwich - Wikipedia
In the court case in the United States of White City Shopping Ctr., LP v. PR Rests., LLC, 21 Mass. L. Rep. 565 (2006), the judge ruled that a true sandwich (from a legal perspective) must include at least two slices of bread.[25] Many open-faced sandwiches do not satisfy this condition, although some served in diners and restaurants in the northeastern U. S. actually do pile the meat and gravy atop two overlapping slices of bread.

SANDWICHES DO REQUIRE TWO SLICES OF BREAD.
A hot dog with a New England Bun (folded sandwich style) would be an open-faced sandwich at most, and that's technically not a sandwich, just meat in a bun. :dame:

Than subs aren't sandwiches.Especially subs like meatball subs and pull pork subs.

More like a meat wrap in a toasted baguette :ehh:
Lol so in layman's term a warm sandwich.

Edit Hypothetically if you broke the baguette buns into halves and than ate it upright instead of on it's side would that make it a sandwich to ya'll?
