Is 30 really the new 20?

Being 30 is cool. Most people in their 20s don't know shyt. 30s is about building and strengthening your foundation. I think I still look good (better than some of my students actually).

Sadly, I'm about to throw my (nyc) teaching career in the bushes :camby: This new position is draining me something awful (had a big health scare this past week) and I just don't feel well physically. I feel like I've aged since I've been doing it. I even gained weight :whoa: not noticeable weight, but its still unacceptable.

Nothing wrong with being 30 and feeling 20. If you're 30 and act 20 however you lost.

You ever consider teaching private school or overseas?

Yeah I have. At this point I don't think its for me. Most of them require a 2 year commitment. I'd give some consideration to one year...especially in the UAE (the pay :ohlawd:)
