I SWEAR TO GOD people downplay P.E. and especially Chuck D. Its almost as if a lot of brehs hate Pro black shyt and trying to erase his contributions from Hip Hop History. :mjpls:

The rise of nikka Culture promotion arrives literally with NWA, erasing the political impact of Public Enemy and other pro-Black groups from that time.

Those raised during the post-1990-to-present nikka Culture Era simply cannot relate to anything that came before it (including jazz, gospel, blues, rock, disco, etc.).

2Pac was pro Black until the 94 shooting and Nas was never really militant like that.

Chuck D, Brand Nubian, Queen Latifah and Ice Cube were way more pro Black, especially the former two.
