If industry plants are real how come they never made a new Hov?

Hov is different
He had a huge base wayyyyy before there were plants

but for a new guy to come and bite rhymes left and right, start a company and bite the company l logo, write a book and plagiarize..... it can't be done fresh off the boat

A plant would need an already large fanbase to act as apologists for his constant biting

You cannot manufacture artists in that quantity

It's like saying let's send a thousand spies into Iran instead of one guy inflatrating

what would be more effective?

Infiltrate iran? Are you serious though? Unless you are Eminem or Adele a label like Def Jam won't be eating greatly of you. Specially not if you're releasing your album at 36.

2 Chainz is a demanded quantity, he released 7 mixtapes to get his buzz. He went to every city in the south, performed, showed himself at the clubs, grinded hard as fukk and finally caught real buzz with his 7th mixtape. Scored street bangers, demand increased, his name started poppin. > Ended up on his mans mixtapes/albums like Gucci, Jeezy increased his stock > started working with other cats like MMG. increased his stock > and he just kept on grinding fukking with everyone from Nelly to Jada to E-40 to unknown ATL nikkas.

It's not a fukking conspiracy, it's hard work and experience paying off.

Right! nikkas wanna turn shyt into some music industry covert operation when they SEE how long it took for the nikka to get to this point.

The industry has some corrupt, wild shyt about it... but let's not turn into conspiracy theorists about every successful new act that comes out. Because then, we'll have to start questioning if the industry was always that corrupt, and nobody would DARE wanna think that about some of their favorites.

Ain't no secret marketing strategies goin' on for a nikka old enough to be his fans' father.

Just cuz he was a struggling group artist years ago doesn't mean he can't be a plant now

Honestly believing in industry plants are in a way more dangerous than all of this illuminati talk. Believing in this industry plant nonsense essentially means that you think people, no more specifically black people, are nothing but mindless drones that will follow whatever they hear on a rap record and accept it. The fact that you put so much into a label or rapper's ability to control someone's daily life or influence an entire community to act completely different is such a misguided and unhealthy thought. You think a 36 year old rapper is going to gradually influence a generation to commit more crimes? Read what you are saying right now and recognize how wild it really sounds. Sense I don't like reading this nonsense I'm going to say this and bounce.

This is true, however it's also true that if TV and radio pushes certain content down your throat enough you will end up enjoying it more than other forms of content that get less airplay

That's not an industry plant, whatever that term means anymore.

That's someone signed to a deal with a major, that has buzz, and the label is making sure his video/songs get played, may involve paying the stations, but that doesn't make him a plant.

So, 2Chainz, Drake, Cole, OF, Frank Ocean, Kendrick, Wiz, A$AP, Joey Bada$$, Jay Elec, Lana Del Ray and Mac Miller are all industry plants.

He is not a plant. Diggy simmons is a plant. The nickster is a plant. 2chainz grinded and is now getting his cash up. I dont like the commercialness of the muzik where hes going and id prefer if he said fukk them nikkas and keep it trill to his TRU fans
