I feel that, and I think Savage Mode was the best project out of all the freshman...I personally feel like he has enough heat for people to respect him as a rapper but I can see one more tape or a few dope features doing the trick

The opinion here will reflect a washed taste. But yeah, I think he needs a few more heaters to really stand-out. He has a great buzz building though.

I try not to judge because there were whack rappers in the 90s and early 00s that were gassed too. I just think the greats now might not be as transcendent as the greats of old. Drake has the juice but isn't really a credible emcee even though he makes enormous hits. I enjoy this era though, Kendrick, Cole, KRIT, Wale, Drake, Meek, Dave East etc.
