2) Ashanti was the more marketable artist especially when you look at the trajectory of their careers.

Breh, artists get taken off songs all the time for varying reasons. Most of the time, its because they don't fit or someone else sounded better on it.

Lil' Mo started working with Murder Inc. in 2000. This was around the time Ashanti was signed to them because she'd sang on Big Pun's "How We Roll", which Irv produced.

Of course Lil Mo blew singing on Mossy's "Hot Boyz", but after Ashanti's debut album dropped and she went 3X platinum with it, we never heard Lil Mo on another Ja album.
