Lex is a lot smarter than Tony, but Lex is also way more arrogant and prone to stupid mistakes.
If they just squared up against each other in armors I think Tony would win.
If this was a long form chess match type of a battle that involved all of their resources.....IDK, it could go either way. You'd think Lex would win but that motherfukkers ego is on the same level as Doom's.

Yeah, but some of Superman's problems with Lex come down to Lex being able to get under his skin, Clark's insistence on doing things "The right way", and Lex knowing how to use Supes good nature against him.
I could EASILY see Tony getting under Lex's skin in a way nobody ever has before, and Tony would be willing to do things that not even Batman would consider.
