Yup , movie was hot 
Like the 2001 Hulk movie: Good enough to only see it once. Saw the 9PM Thursday showing and I was tempted to spoil it for the midnight showing line when I came out of there.

Howard the duck had some great 80s pop punk music..I had the sound track as a kid..I remember walking in the theater with my b*stard of a dad and being scared when dude started spitting that acid..

1) It doesn't get any worse than Howard The Duck. Especially when you consider everyone who was involved in making that movie.
2) They fukked up by making an Ironman movie without Ironman. How someone didn't pick that up somewhere in pre-production or even in post (and ordered reshoots) is beyond me.

1st if you an 80's baby, you grew up on "Howard The Duck" just like we did for "Willow". Both didn't get good reviews but their Classics to 80's baby. I understand why adults think "Howard the Duck" was wack but to kids it was the sh!t. Also "Howard The Duck" was the 1st marvel based movie in the modern era. Anyways. Iron Man 3 was average and it's Box Office won't change that. Give it 5 years everyone will call it a supbar finale to the trilogy. Just for historical comparison. "Spider-man 3" broke all types of box office records and even made close to 1 Billion yet it's universally understood to be one of the worst comic book films ever. Box office does show the connection and impact but it doesn't always determine quality. Iron Man 3 doing 1 Billion is about how good The Avengers was cause if IM3 was coming off IM2 it wouldn't of made that money. But what they did with the manderin was so damn corny it ruined the movie.
Everyone is calling it a subpar movie. Only fanboys are pointing to the box office take to defend it.
And it's not as bad as Spiderman 3. But that Mandarin twist was almost as bad as emo Peter Parker.

It's just a bad twist that takes you out of the film. Imagine if they just went with the whole Bin Ladin Manderin wreaking havoc on Tony the whole damn film, that would of been hard body. Nobody gives a damn about a scorn scientist and a jump off mad at Tony.

Watch this clip and see how they sold and promoted it. They dropped the ball cause Kingsley Bin Ladin thing even though it was steretypical (Didn't want to do an asian stereotype but a Muslin one is OK?, lol) actually worked for awhile before the lame twist.

I tried watching Howard the Duck again on MaxGO a few weeks ago and couldn't believe how horrible it was. On some....I liked this shyt as a child?

It comes on the television quite often and i still feel it is a great film.You wouldn't know a good movie if it bit you on the ass.
