It’s not solely the action that doesn’t work: it’s a combination of things. The story is weak, the lead is unlikable bad actor, and he doesn’t seem like a kung fu master at all. He’s the worst fighter in the cast. Hell, he can’t even be bothered to get into proper shape . Show never really had a chance as constructed.

Disney couldn't handle The Raids stunt team , but I agree Into The Badlands easily has the best fights on TV now. Fight scenes in Iron Fist Season 2 were improved, but still lacked much of a memorable spark. Only one that really stands out in my mind was when Mary was giving Danny that work in the subway.

With the rather quick cancellation, I wonder if the numbers were really . The 1st season was received poorly, it was the 3rd Marvel Netflix show this year, wouldn't shock me if many people gave it the even with the better buzz. They can easily fold some of the other characters into other shows, especially Colleen

I remember the huge backlash from the series finale once I heard he was contracted to do Iron Fist and Inhumans I knew they'd be trash.

Iron Fist should be fantastical and outlandish. Bright colors, dope costumes, eastern mysticism. Basically mortal Kombat mixed with dragon Ball z
