The greatest marketing scheme was convincing people they needed a new phone every year. It’s only a matter of time till MacBooks get there.

I went from 7 to S9 to X in a year and I’m done with the bs. I’m staying with x till this time next year.

Most apple users don’t actually think like this.

I haven’t bought a new iphone in more than 2 years, only reason I bought a new macbook was because of water damage but it was almost 4-5 years before that.

I have YET to buy a new ipad and its been 3 years at least.

Macbooks will NEVER get that way. Most people who buy Mac computers ride theirs forever. My Imac is damn near brand new still.

Of all the computers I get asked to fix in my spare time or systems I get asked to troubleshoot at work (even cyod/cope phones), rarely do I see a Apple product and they’re used like 50% of the company.

all my friends either got 6s, 7x. not many people fell for the okie dokie. The only people getting these "upgrades" are mostly first time cellphone buyers like parents getting phones for their teens or new 18 year olds that able to get there lease on a phone.
