I'm an Android guy with the new HTC on order, but Id still recommend the 6S was looking at one before thinking should I cancel.

I like my samsung galaxy s6.
Bullshyt! Apple can't even produce the majority of their iPhones without Samsung parts.
If you like Apple's ecosystem over Android's then fine, but otherwise the iPhone is basically outdated both tech & spec wise & it doesn't hold a candle to Samsung Galaxy S6/S7 & Note 5 handsets.
The Samsung S7: Is larger, lighter in weight (S7 model), has a better screen, better battery life, wireless charging (which iPhones don't have), Quick Charge 3.0 (which iPhones don't have),better camera/video camera, a liquid cooling system (which iPhones don't have),more storage capabilities with an Micro SD Card (which iPhones doesn't have), more storage for base model than iPhone (32 GB for Samsung S7 vs only 16 GB for Apple iPhone.6/6s), is waterproof & has a better CPU & CPU performance than the iPhone 6/6s.
And this is just what I can come up with off the top of my head.

HTC phones aren't that great so I'd recommend if your going to go Android and want the the best overall smartphone period it's either Samsung Galaxy S6/S7Note 5 or nothing IMO.

Anecdotal evidence, but a chick I know has a HTC from 2 years ago and I have an iPhone 6+.
We both take care of ours but hers is physically busted up. The power button doesn't work and the whole phone is slow as molasses. Mine still works a charm. I see a bit of slowness opening apps, but it only has 1GB of RAM, but everything else runs fine. Still a whole day of battery too.
For me this is one of the main reasons I stick with iOS, because it's one manufacturer and "one" phone. Whilst I LOVE the tech inside the S7 Edge, I don't like the Samsung ecosystem. I find it stupid that there are two browsers, two music players, etc. But that's just me. I want the best with little BS. Like do I use Samsung or Google Pay? Why are there two? Are they compatible, etc. Again, the first nexus I had was a HTC, then it went to another manufacturer, now another. There are too many questions with android.
Apple doesn't come without faults though, they price their phones too expensive/do not have good capacity options. But I adore iMessage, Apple Pay, system wide dictionary, iCloud continuation, etc
I work in IT too, so I'm highly computer literate, so it's not a technology issue.
For me, iOS is just s tighter package. I don't think there is one thing that is killing me that is not on iOS.

Lol @ Apple products. I'm Android all day. My girl wanted to buy me an Apple phone because she had iPhones and wanted us to match but I shut that down. The only reason she got an iPhone is because most celebs got an iPhone which is stupid. I like being able to have any app I want and not pay for it. I like that my privacy isn't comprised by being on the icloud. I like controlling my TV and other devices with my phone. I like being able to have Google. If you borderline lazy and not tech savvy get an iPhone but if you want piff go with Android.

I have acess to free apps.
I have access to the filesystem
Emulators and roms I have that (not really useful imo)
Ive had all this since the iphone 4. I have the 6 now.
And who ever out chea buying these 1000 dollar phones and putting cases on them is losing imo. they deserved to be enjoyed to the fullest
