90% of mobile phone users post their photos to social networks where they're compressed or resized, purposely degraded in quailty for an artistic flair (Instagram) and viewed on other small screens of varying quality.

I'm really no longer impressed with photo prowess in mobile phones anymore when you consider the above. It's pretty much overkill for what they're being used for.

If you're that serious about photography, get a DSLR.

Or get a Nokia 920

digital cameras are basically obsolete for most these days. I am glad Apple and Nokia are taking steps to go even further with advancing cameras in their phones. It's only right.

Everying in one device is what we all want. The Lumia 920 has an incredible camera...this is what we need.

Imagine if when introducing iOS 6, Apple asked a large percentage of the iPhone users in the room to leave because it didn't concern them.

That is the Android experience.

And that's really cool and all .....but that's a teeny minority and more on some "look what I can do with my phone shyt" more than people are buying these things to make serious videos with.

Call me when they start replacing professional grade equipment with iPhones in real numbers.

I'm not shytting on technology, continuous improvement is always good. I'm just saying I'm not as impressed as I once may have been, mostly because of how people are ACTUALLY using the tech. It doesn't benefit me to know that I can film a movie in decent quality with an iPhone because I have no plans to do such a thing. That's where I'm coming from.
