i dont get why ppl keep saying its the same phone, from the 4 to 4s yes that was the same phone but the 5 is not, its thinner, lighter, bigger screen, different back piece, different color etc..

Jailbreak it. That's the best thing you can do to an iPhone. You might have to wait though.
