Not at all. iPad 3 will continue to be supported for a couple years unlike Android tablets. Wouldn't want to lose my jailbreak either,

- Folks that just bought the iPad 3 are owners of a discontinued product
- Apple basically acting like it doesn't exist anymore
- iPad 4 has a better processor and is coming next month
It's not like iPad 3s all died and stopped working because the iPad 4 was announced, but it hints at some type of hardware issue for 3, and it's also a slap in the face to the early adopters.
