I got Amazon Prime so it's $99. And yeah I can see myself using it, especially in the kitchen. My hands are messy, and I wanna play/stop music, need to set an alarm, wanna check the weather, etc.

I'm always putting my phone down somewhere so the fact it's always in the same location would be a benefit too.

I too spend a lot of time in the Kitchen. You gonna ask it to give you recipes on shyt?
I might need to know how long or at what degreez do I cook something. That would be handy if it worked like the vid showcases

But these things never work that great. Not as good as advertised. But then again, it is nearing 2015 so

I think this is kinda dope and you nikka aint got not vision. This is perfect for families as advertised and the older non tech savy consumer ex. 50 year olds who use the iphone. People need technology but in a simple platform. Being able to ask and have this assistant in your house is neat for older people, young people not so much.

Only problem is the security and is there a history feature. I can see somebody in ya house saying "alexa order me 15 x box ones" or ya child saying alexa play uncut version of whatever song.
