I think this is a great idea :psalute:
Although I think there may already be threads that fit the bill. Some of my Mobb threads would be good for Mobb Deep. @CleinB made a great thread on 36 Mafia.
It could be more than just artists too, like I've got a thread on Source bias. So maybe we could do events/subjects. :psalute:

it could be one giant comprehensive encyclopaedia or something but for now I think I'll stick to artists

I'll lay out a format for how it should be done so y'all can peep it

if you wanna copy and paste info from previous threads feel free to do so

but I think a universal format is best accessible for people. I'll do one for Cube for example and people can see how it's done.

I would stick to one writer per artist but if there are multiple people fighting for one artist either they agree upon themselves or we decide amongst them who does it

but for example I think it's universally accepted that you're the guy for K-Rino, know what I mean?

Good idea but think various booth input per artist and get a rounded impression, or different perspectives (as long as it doesn't derail like a lot of the threads here)

but if someone is entrusted by a majority to handle a particular artist page I think we're good

I just think people's tastes are v different even between stans. My top5 mobb tracks won't be like another stan - usually. Ppl like the Nas "message" I think it's trash

I don't know how you're planning on doing this but the first thought that comes to mind is making individual threads for an artist in mind, and then have fans or anybody as a matter in fact, help with the creation of the guide.

well my sample one will show people how it should look

then we can agree on either a thread discussion per artist/group or whether I get someone to do it low-key behind the scenes and PM me

probably best to do it group-wise in a discussion capacity
