i'm thinkin about coming back to this show. I saw S1E1 and was like :patrice: and never came back. I'll probably binge and catch up. I need to pick up a few new shows anyways.

Took off the day from work to catch up on my TV shows (I only had 4 days off since February started FWIW so I needed a damn day off). Finished up Californication and started this.

When that redhead lady starts carving up dudes with them knives to start the second episode
:ooh: :whew: :feedme:

Sunny got fukking wreck by the kung fu monks.

EDIT: I really want a Season two. This is an awesome show with the potential to be significantly more. The world building was phenomenal for how short a time they were given. They managed to build a full world that is very interesting and captivating with tons of other things yet to be explored. Add to that the choreography and the legend of the kung fu powers. They really just need to shore up the writing a little bit a little more investment in some of the acting, and it's got a great amount going for it.

If this doesn't get a 2nd season I'll be really sad. This will hopefully get a full season and then that should tide me over until we get Marvel's Ironfist, which should hopefully be very similar to this show but more netflix marvel-y. The potential is there, they just have to grab it and go.

I don't know if you missed the last page of this thread, but Season 2 starts in 2 weeks:
