Interstellar "tunnel" found that connects our solar system to other stars

And on top of that traveling at lightspeed would be a one way ticket in time and space,you can't return to the same time/space attempting to come back. I think that the warping of space time itself would be the only way to actually get from one point to another but the energy required would be beyond our scientific reach,even if we would figure the math out.

Do y'all think they're gonna use these discoveries to attempt light speed travel? I imagine they'd attempt to use some sort of radiation to widen these "tunnels" and attempt to pass through them.
