Yes. Brothas should be called out on their bullshyt and brothas have historically been the butt end of the joke in the US for years. So in our case there is a sense of accountability for our actions.

We don't have the luxury to fukk up and blame others, but many black women can. If a dude has a kid, he is FINANCIALLY responsible for that kid, no matter what. A woman can have a baby and drop the kid off at a church or hospital and wash her hands clean. If a man doesn't pay child support, he will get locked up, license suspended etc.

A woman on the other hand can have as many children as she wants and the govt will continue to fund and support her. Black men have been historically blamed for everything wrong in the US.

Seriously? We've got little black boys being put into special ed classes unnecessarily and black boys getting suspended for dumb things like calling a teacher cute or accidentally finding pornographic images of a teacher after getting permission to use that teacher's computer. Black boys get disrespected at an early age and society tries to prep them for failure. Black girls are the ones who get encouraged to go to college and do well without people trying to throw them off their path.

The negative images for black men far outweigh the negative images of black women. For those specials looking into black relationships, black women are always put in a positive light. Black women even join in on the throwing black men under the bus.

On BET they have an annual special "Black Girls Rock". Where's our damn special?
