I don't believe this story, BW/wM couples don't face this type hatred, in fact this coupling is encouraged. They must have gotten the races mixed up.

I remember at this one job I worked at the couple was BW/WM. They started dating at work and he said he noticed that guys that used to be his "friends" kind of distanced themselves. He said he was apart of the in crowd and he just started getting passed up for projects and promotions and stuff. She wasn't there as long as him but they often had to work on projects together and it was definitely tension from people who knew they were a couple.
