I don't think Ryback was ready when they had him feud with Punk. Looking back, they should have kept him away from the main event scene for a little bit longer. Then you have him win the Rumble, he chooses to face Big Show and he wins the title at WrestleMania. Ziggler could cash in either immediately after or the night after.

And the crowd would be guaranteed to go crazy when Ziggler cashed in. You could also do a double turn later on since that's what actually happened and people will end up siding with Ziggler over Ryback.

Did you have that same problem when CM Punk cashed in on Jeff Hardy?

There's no reason to believe Ryback won't win the title again. Ziggler doesn't have to hold it for that long. In this scenario, Ryback has an easy route to winning back the title. He doesn't have to turn heel for no reason, and if he does, there's at least justification for it. He's also not feuding against a big star like Cena where it would be a lot harder for him to get the title. Ziggler is a transitional champion at best. If Ryback beats Ziggler at Payback, for example, it does benefit him in the long run because he was screwed over but then was able to finish the job. And the crowd in Chicago is going to be hot for him when he wins.

There is an option where Ryback beats Big Show at WrestleMania and Ziggler never cashes in, but only in New Jersey can you create a moment like Ziggler winning the title.

How would you book Ryback going into WrestleMania?
