Instagram has taken attention whoring to a whole new level. Every chick who has a smidgen of a## is now posting pics in hopes of getting put on. And once those same chicks get a few thousand followers, they come become "models" with a gmail for bookings. And don't let the chick have a great body. Hell, even some of the threads that have been started on the Coli have been devoted to chicks who are no more than IG models....Briana Bette comes to mind.

Social networking has given people a chance to be more than what they actually are. It gives them a chance to become some form of celebrity when in reality they're just a manager at Walgreen's or a customer service rep. I would be most of the IG "models" work in low-end jobs, but IG gives them a vehicle to front like they're actually making bread off photo shoots.

Its just a very wack situation when it comes to actual social interaction.
