Same can be said for Pharoahe Monch or Fizzy Womack aka Lil' Fame

Deck got some joints, no question. But doesn't that sum it up? Deck got some joints...while RZA got entire albums and catalogs worth of classic beats.
Exactly. And yes I'm about to derail the thread a bit but did you know Deck's verse on Triumph was something he already spit for a Tony Touch mixtape? I just found that out this weekend.
:ohhh: He thought the cadence matched up with the strings on the Triumph beat so asked Tony Touch if he could use it for the Forever album.

I don't think this hot take is too crazy, but you can easily argue Deck has the 2 of the top 5 most memorable Wu verses of all time. (Triumph and Cream).

Here's the OG Triumph verse.

They're both fire...but better than RZA?

:dwillhuh:

RZA is mad trash now
Yeah, he fell off, but he produced 3 albums that not only are classic but are some of the greatest albums in hip-hop and maybe all of music history. Then fully produced another 3 albums that range from 4.5 to 4 mics. And then capped it off on Forever by doing at least a dozen beats on there, some which are his best.

RZA directly influenced a generation of producers. Kanye West, Just Blaze, and Alchemist (to name just a few) have all cited RZA as a massive influence.

he fell off but his body of work in his prime is so influential and so bulletproof that I think you can't compare random loosies that Deck produced that even though they're good, can't compare. Deck also never fully produced any album that I'm aware of, and you can't be better than RZA if you've never produced a full album.
