they were both pretty good.
my only complaint is that they should have never
shown so much of the demon in the 1st one.
I'll check the 3rd one out.

Don't remember how the 2nd one ended but I do remember thinking there would be another one with the way it ended.

1st one was good....2nd one was ....will watch this one for sure but not really expecting much.

The second one ended with the little boy going to save the fatherm just like the father going to save the bot in the first one. The "good guy" dead chick then goes to a house where some little girl is posessed. You start hearing some sounds, and iirc it's the same sounds that the demon was making in the first one.

Hopefully the third one they actually kill that demon but then again

As a huge james wan fan the 2nd was a huge letdown. It didnt feel like wan was into it at all.

Like a poster above me mentioned I really dug death sentence and dead silence as well. Plus saw and conjuring are horror classics.


Its a shame he said hes done with the horror genre as he seemed to have a real love and passion for it. Im intrigued to see what he brings to the fast and furious franchise.


As for this one, its the directorial debut by leigh whannel. Leigh is the one who wrote saw, deas silence, insidious etc. So at least for this one its still in the hands of the creator.

Ill see it just to support leigh, hopefully he does a great job and launnches himself as the next great horror director.

This is the Saw franchise all over again... first movie is decent tbut far from great and then the rest are mediocre, wack and generic....

Wan iis aiight.. His movies are hit or miss for me,... I like the fact that he jumped away from graphic violent horror movies when it was trendy to do them... to movies based more around the aisual/psychological horror that isnt carried by graphic death scenes.....

Saw is the one of the best horror films of all time. It was fresh and original while being a classic horror film. Brought a modern horror icon as well as having a classsic horror music/theme. Film also changed the landscape of horror when it released.

And then he flipped the script and dropped insidious/conjuring snd changed the game again.

i agree with your first point, i went into the 2nd film on a random night, me and a buddy..empty ass theatre with supreme sound..yes we got ripped a part man, i was scared from the sound and certain scenes..didn't even care for the plot etc..lol
